Warpstock '98 in Chicago, the second "unauthorized" annual gathering of the OS/2 user clan was another big success. Despite stating they would not attend "because this is not our target market" IBM sent a team to demonstrate the new "OS/2 Warp Server for eBusiness" (formerly Aurora). This may be a permanent change of heart, because the Warpstock organization has already put Warpstock '99 and 2000 out to bid, saying it was necessary to get them nailed down soon so IBM executives could firm up their travel plans.
