Speculation as to whether NT 5.0 or NetWare 5.0 would be out first, and whether NetWare 5.0 would even matter, have been laid to rest. NetWare 5.0 is shipping and NT 5.0 isn't anywhere in sight. NetWare 5.0 appears feature rich, very stable and fast. It's now up to Novell to learn some marketing skills to end the migration from NetWare to Windows NT. Most of NT's gains came at NetWare's expense, purely due to marketing failure.
