Two of the worlds largest ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software
companies are supporting Java, because their clients demand it.
J.D. Edwards officials said they are migrating their One World ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to Java for the convenience of their big corporation clients. Announcements are to be made at Comdex Enterprise (NY). ERP industry leader SAP has already made a similar announcement. Having these large systems available in Java will make it easier for corporations to integrate them with their own internal Java developments. |
