ADP, the company that does payroll for over 425,000 businesses, has chosen Java as the only reasonable platform for their new payroll reporting software. The server side will run on IBM AS/400s, and the software will provide secure data transfer between client's computers and the servers. So critical is the reliability and security of the servers they will be installed in an IBM high security data center where they will get the best of care.
